Following the tradition of tanking my stock price, I went and gave a 100% dividend return. For a small while, it tanked the stock price by half.
Lessons learned about dividend return:
1. Give 100% tanks your stock price
If you want to buy up your stocks quickly, just put 100% dividend return and be prepared to buy back.
At some point even with a 100% Dividend Return, your stock price will recover and go back to normal. So don’t expect it to be cheap throughout.
3. Merger companies
Keep an eye on your merger companies. Some of them may be giving your high-quality raw materials away to competitors creating competition. You also want to keep an eye on the products they need and you might need to invest in them or just shut them down. Typical examples of it would be mines that may be needed as the firm was producing products that needs more resources. Be prepared to either shut down an industry or continue building on it because a merger is a great way to get into a market as you get the tech.
